About Skid Proof
Skid Proof Ltd was founded by Finn Kennedy in 2011. Finn has over 30 years’ experience in specialist contracting in the construction industry, primarily in specialist architectural glass and glazing, both in Australia and Ireland. After noting a gap in the market for specialist anti–slip products, Finn obtained the Master Franchise for Skid Proof products for Ireland.
Skid Proof has come a long way in a short period of time, building up an impressive portfolio of clients such as Dublin Airport Authority, Office of Public Works, Apple, Intel, Stillorgan Shopping Centre, Google, Dublin City Council, Donegal County Council, Wexford County Council, Enterprise Ireland, The Dean and Clarence Hotels, The Health and Safety Authority and Radisson Blu Hotels.
We have also treated porches, showers, baths, bathroom floors, kitchen floors and patios in many private houses throughout Ireland.
In 2017, Skid Proof added the Dr. Schutz range of anti-slip and floor care products to its range; this German product is an international market leader in floor care and their anti-slip coatings are anti-microbial as they hermetically seal joints and cracks in all floor surfaces, deny microbes a place to grow.
Skid Proof is insured for Public Liability and Employer Liability and is fully tax compliant.
